We have now determined that we were subject to a ‘Denial Of Service’ (DOS) attack. A DOS is a cyberattack designed to render a network, machine or service unavailable to its intended users by overwhelming it with a flood of traffic or triggering a system crash. We know how frustrating this must have been for you, especially at a time when many of you were looking forward to playing together over the festive period.
